Job Description:
This Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates leadership qualities to oversee call center nursing and assistant staff who conduct triage through incoming and outbound calls. The call center is a program designed to provide after-hours clinical triage support to Pediatric and Internal/Family Medicine patients that utilize the Pediatric and Internal/Family Medicine Primary Care Services across the organization (addition of key organizational descriptors). The Registered Nurse (RN) will support the clinical staff by providing direct care of the patient population that utilizes the triage services. This person must demonstrate a commitment of quality to service the callers, organization, and to all co-workers and staff. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Participates as a key member of the Population Health Leadership Team
Works with the Director of Population Health and Chief of Population Health in the planning and implementation of the department goals and overall program
Assists the Director in planning and documenting staff meetings
Assists in the interviewing, counseling, training, and performance evaluations of all nursing and support staff in the department, utilizing Best Practices and Evidence Based Medicine
Maintains all personnel documents for nursing staff
Assists in the development and execution of core competency education/training for all clinical nursing and support staff
Attends organizational and departmental meeting(s) and other meetings as designated by the Population Health Leadership Team
Develops and maintains all staff scheduling for nursing and support staff members
Develops and implements reporting for all key performance indicators
Responsible for achieving Call Center performance targets
Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care for the telephonic patient population
Complies with state nursing and organizational department standards, policies, and procedures
Focus on patient experience/service excellence


Registered Nurse (RN) - Call Center (On Site) Qualifications:
Current New Jersey RN license.

2.     Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience within the ambulatory or acute care setting with excellent clinical skills

3.     Minimum of three to five (3-5) years telephone nurse assessment experience within a hospital or healthcare organization

4.     Previous supervisor or team lead experience mandatory

5.     Excellent written, verbal, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills

6.     Knowledge of community services, physicians, and health system(s)

7.     Positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude

8.     Organizational change management experience preferred

9.     Comfort/experience with managing Human Resource-related employee issues

10.  EMR experience a must, exposure to Word, Excel, Powerpoint

11.  Works effectively with minimum supervision
