Job Summary:

Responsible for the day to day operation of machinery and its related tasks.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

v  Understand all aspects of the machine, start of day to end of day.

v  Understand customer specifications and can operate the machine to meet those specifications.

v  Communicate and monitor the safety of the machine and employees in the area.

v  Communicate issues to supervisors and managers.

v  Ensure machine is operating safely.

v  Mitigate issues to maintain a steady stream of product.

v  Perform other duties as required.


Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

v  Able to work in a fast paced, high stress environment.

v  Ability to communicate with employees, manager, supervisors and coworkers in a team environment.

v  Able to work, monitor and enforce safety and food facility regulations.

v  Able to read and mark containers as to the specifications of the product.

v  Able to understand the Mission codes of product and materials.

v  Assist in calibration, repair or maintenance of the machine.

v  Understand safety aspects of operating the machinery.

v  High school diploma or equivalent.

v  Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.


Working Conditions:

v  Fast paced cold and wet environment.

v  Food facility requires food safe behavior.

v  Mitigating issues with machines.


Working Demands:

v  Standing, bending, kneeling and crouching for prolonged periods of time.

v  Stand for an 8 hour shift.

v  Work in cold conditions from 38°F to 50°F.

v  Make decisions in a high stress environment.

v  Work around and monitor employees who are working around machines.

v  Able to lift 25 to 48 pounds to a minimum height of 36 inches.


Physical Requirements:

v  Lifting, pushing, pulling and grasping while standing and kneeling.

v  Able to perform the essential function of the job with or without accommodation.
